Challenge:
This Christian Book retailer's existing 80,000 square foot distribution center, needed to be retrofitted to accommodate growth and the ability to ship to over 350 stores nationwide. They were out of floor space and had no automation.

Solution:
Better cube utilization with the provision of storage rack and shelving, plus walk times and the time it took to get orders to shipping were reduced with an automated conveyor system. The solution consisted of:
- Two Case Pick Modules floor level with reserve storage
- Two Bin Shelving Modules with future second level
- Order selection and packing conveyor system
- Trash Handling conveyor system
- Packing and quality assurance stations
- Automatic High Speed Media Dispenser
- Four (4) Automatic Print and Apply machines
- UPS shipping lanes with powered trailer loaders
- Pallet racking with approximately 2,600 locations
