In November of 2008, ISG completed the conveyor and vertical lift portion of the 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility for Seaquist Closures in Mukwonago, WI. This network of conveyor connects several manufacturing operations in the facility. The contents of each carton is scanned. Full cartons are diverted to a case sealer and vertically transported 15 to 20 feet in the air via vertical lifts, to a common take-away conveyor. Product is merged on this elevated conveyor with cartons from other work zones.
Approximately 2,200 feet later, a spiral conveyor brings the cartons amassed from all of these areas back to the floor where they are accumulated and deposited for pick-up by a palletizing gantry crane.
